On September 22nd, Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat threatened Pakistan with surprise action by Indian security forces, a day after New Delhi cancelled a meeting between foreign ministers of the two countries.
Dr Fiza Akbar took it upon herself to show him his place.
In her show on Kohe Noor News, she went on a tirade, addressing the Army Chief.
“Khawabon se bahir ajain,” she told the army chief, referring to his threat of attacking Pakistan. “Pakistan pe hamla karnay ki jurat apki nai hai,” she went on to add.
She then went on to claim hilariously that the Indian media states that he used to run away from school and wanted to perform in films.
“Jo school se bhaaj jata tha, hero ban’na chata tha, auraton ki tarah hat pehn ki phirta hai, goron se aaj tak inspire hai, wo hamain dhamkian deta hai?” she questioned.

Fiza Akbar is notorious for her blunt and tactless videos where she is seen criticizing people without thinking, apparently.
Here’s another video criticizing India in her show.

She seems to have a lot to say about India. How about recruiting her in the Pakistan Army?

While these videos are hilarious in a way, they also show an underlying problem in the Pakistani journalism industry.
She was a colleague once upon a time when we worked for the Express group and quite a lovely person otherwise. I wish my colleagues would not agree to lend their voices and their faces to such terrible scripts furnished by producers at the behest of *cough* ‘seniors’. https://t.co/jMV6kiFlKE

However, some believe it’s the producer and anchor who are responsible for this kind of journalism.
Being a producer I can only say it matters a lot your anchor has brain or not to understand ethics of journalism and evaluate what garbage his/her producer is serving him/her. For me in such cases both producer and anchor are responsible.

A journalist is supposed to remain non-partisan and unbiased in political matters, even when the matter is close to their heart. Or if they are to express their views, they are supposed to be conveyed in a diplomatic, respectful manner.
What do you think of Dr. Fiza’s tirade of attacks?
