Leaks? check! Rumors? check! Teasers? check! And after years of all of that we finally got our first look at the Fabled foldable smartphone that Samsung has been working on for quite some time now. Analysts and industry insiders are calling it the Samsung Galaxy F, F standing for Foldable. While the F may sound catchy, it begs the question Is this F for Flawed or Fabulous?
Earlier this month Samsung gave us a sneak peek of what could be the dawn of a new era in smartphones.
It showed us something that has been a distant dream of tech enthusiasts for years. A smartphone that is both pocket-friendly and folds out to become a tablet when you need it to. The time finally came or so we thought. But one thing bothered us during the device’s showcase. The device was placed inside a boxy container and even the lights were dimmed to hide what the company didn’t want us to see. Is the device still not ready? Or was it hidden from the prying eyes of the competitors?
Those above questions are all valid. And when we are hearing rumors that the device might cost upwards of $1700, consumers need a solid reason to keep their hopes up. Samsung didn’t give us any clues as to what the device might look like, so Youtuber Concept Creator took the matters into his own capable hands and created a concept video of the Galaxy F.
The device in the video looks sexy and is making us drool over it. Beautiful all-screen design, with curved display corners and a foldable screen, when put together like this looks something straight out of a sci-fi novel. Admittedly, it is just a concept so take this with a big grain of salt. Other details like specs and a proper release date remain scarce. But amidst all of this uncertainty one thing is quite certain. if the device is as good looking in real life as it is in the concept video, Samsung will be at the forefront of a new mobile revolution.
