Ever since India has revoked article 370 and unjustly taken the special status of Kashmir as a disputed territory, Pakistanis have been protesting to show their solidarity with Kashmiris. Many prominent figures from showbiz fraternity have voiced their concerns over the Indian oppression as well.
25 days of darkness for #Kashmir as the world continues to sleep…
Turning a blind eye to it won’t change the truth…
Praying.. every minute!

Let’s stand by our Prime minister this Friday and show our support for our Kashmiri brothers and sisters. I will also be in muzzafarad to attend the Prime Ministers jalsa, and I request you all to attend, as this is the time to stand up and raise our voices.#LetsGoToMzd

Not just this, Pakistani actors recently joined Imran Khan’s rally to Muzaffarabad in response to PM’s call for the support over the Kashmir issue.
This time it is Sajal Ali who has taken a stand for Kashmiris by turning down a movie offer straight out of Bollywood.
The star has previously worked in a critically acclaimed movie MOM, starring alongside the deceased Bollywood star Sridevi.
The Pakistani starlet also dwelled upon the view that no Pakistani artist should collaborate or work in the Indian industry unless the atrocities in IOK cease.
Previously, Sajal and her real/reel life partner Ahad Raza Mir were reported to have signed a Web Series with Indian producers despite the fact that PEMRA has forbidden Pakistani artists to work with Indian fraternity. The couple received quite a backlash since then and had to back off from the project eventually.
This recent action might be Sajal’s way to endorse her stance against the Indian atrocities in Kashmir and may aid to clear the air for her.
